Overview:
Get ready for a full day of experiments, learning and hands-on, interactive fun for people of all ages! Technorama is an expansive museum that allows visitors the opportunity to touch, tinker, manipulate and work on science experiments.
There are multiple floors, allowing individuals to take their time exploring the hundreds of interactive stations. Throughout the day (typically around 11:30 and 14:30) shows and special programs take place and last roughly 30 minutes. All of the special programs are available in German and seating is limited. For details on the special programs available during your visit, please see the Technorama website.
The museum offers public workshops and “OpenLabs” for those who wish to experiment and learn as much as they can about science. Public workshops are typically offered in Chemistry, Physics, and Biology. Tickets for these workshops are an additional cost to the entrance price.
Technorama is a tactile opportunity for families of all ages, though older children may gain more from the museum as they learn to understand the science behind some of the experiments. The museum is perfect on a rainy day or when your family is searching for a new educational adventure!
