Tips for Getting Out the Door
As parents, as an educator, and nature advocates, we believe deeply in the human need to connect with the natural world.
Somewhere along the way, many of us lost touch with what truly matters.
For us, the most meaningful way to restore that essential connection is through time spent outdoors.
Here are a few simple ways you raise fresh air kids!

Plan in advance
Mark your calendar and let you children know what to expect!

Ask for ideas
Include your children in the planning process! Encourage them to share their ideas.

Make it fun
Time spent outdoors should be fun! Think playground, theme trail, scavenger hunts, and/or adventure!

Bring friends or join a group
Time spent outdoors with others heightens every experience. Invite friends to go on your small or big adventures, especially if you have teens!
