Oh, it's that time of year when the temperatures are cooler, the sweaters are pulled from the depths of our closets and early morning coffees are treasured moments. It is my favorite time of year. Autumn is a feast for the eyes with all of the magnificent colors painted throughout the landscapes and hiking in the crisp, cool air is magnificent. In just a couple of weeks we will officially welcome another season.

If you and your family are looking for a wonderful little outing, not far from Basel, consider a trip to Liestal's Kürbisland. With loads of pumpkin varieties, recipes, and farm goods, this place has it all. Don't forget to pick some fresh flowers while you are there and allow the children the opportunity to play at the tiny playground. Have fun!
